Welcome to my humble blog! I am an ex-accountant, a struggling entrepreneur, and a creative writer. I know. Not a good way to introduce myself, but when I started my journey a decade ago, never in my wildest dream did I imagine I would end up this way. I merely wanted to succeed in finance field and, naturally, add a ton to my bank account. But, a few years of my face eating dirt taught me thinking only of your wallet is not the way to go about it. After earning no definite job position, I eventually adjusted my goals from rags to riches to rags to moderate rags lest I ended up in dirt, literally. Selecting an alternate career path, I, then, started my home-based business, “Woven” and gave it my all. Unfortunately, failing to understand the intricacies of marketing, I mostly ran like a headless chicken throughout my business experience. My business degree should have given me an edge over this “business” business, but, I suppose, my experience of doodling away in the class must have paid off to gain such high standing. Nevertheless! I pulled out all the stops in my venture and brought Woven on its wobbly feet. My business exposure, however lousy it may seem though, broadened my mind to other possibilities, which I might not have paid heed to otherwise. I learned to look beyond the straight path and take notes from them. That exploration led me to freelance writing, and here I am! Ladies and gentlemen! My name is Zarqoon Amin, and I write stories.
